• Program Overview

  • CASA

The Casa program is for children aged 2½ to 5 years. The program is divided into 5 main areas:

    Practical Life

The practical life exercises are self inviting, purposeful activities which are very close to real life work, not only give the child self confidence but satisfies his sense of accomplishment. The cycle of activity is simple, clear and short. The result of the work is quickly seen. These exercises enable the children to develop independence, concentration, and eye-hand coordination.

    Sensorial

The sensorial material provides the child opportunities to refine all the five senses, small details and train his eye to discriminate between size, height, width, and breadth dimensions, as well as colors and geometric shapes.

  • Math

Challenging, manipulative exercises helps the child to grasp the abstract concept of math with ease using a hands on approach. The children will learn numeration, place value, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and the decimal system.

    Language

The total development of language takes place by introducing children to correct spoken and written language. The children learn to read and write by using the different Montessori materials. The program is designed to make this academic program fun and help children develop an interest in reading and writing.

    Culture

Children in the Casa program are very interested in learning about the world around them. The monthly program fully caters to their needs and curiosity by encompassing botany, science experiments, zoology, geography, history and art.
